Flying at Sunrise

  Flying at Sunrise

In late February and early March Sunrise and the light in the sky beofre and after at the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area in Pennsylvania, present a flying spectacle. At this time each year, thousands of Snow Geese, Chen caerulescens, gather here to feed in the outlying corn fields and prepare for the long flight to their nesting grounds on the Arctic tundra in the northern part of Canada.
